Okeanos Aggressor

Costa Rica Liveaboard Cocos IslandThe Okeanos Aggressor is a 33 metre yacht, built and powered for comfort, safety and stability. She is diesel- powered, cruises at 10 knots and has 110-volt power on board. Okeanos Aggressor is registered with a Costa Rican flag and has been an Aggressor Fleet destination since 1988. Guests diving with Okeanos Aggressor are provided free of charge a GPS locator that operates through satellite in case of an emergency. It sends an sms to the Okeanos local office with coordinates, and to the rescue coordination centre with a web link to your location.

Okeanos Aggressor offers departures to Cocos Island on a year round basis. Trips are 10 nights in duration from Saturday to Tuesday.

Cabins

9 double Deluxe cabins and 1 Quad cabin with private head, shower, closet, port window, individual climate control and hair dryer. Stateroom #2  has two lower full-sized beds and two upper single beds (bunk-style). Staterooms #3-6 have 2 single beds (bunk-style). Staterooms #7-11 have a lower double bed and single upper bed (bunk-style).

Spacious salon with TV, DVD player, CD stereo, library. The onboard video format is both NTSC and PAL.

Food/Meals

Variety of American feasts, barbecues and local cuisine. Lunch is served buffet style whilst dinners are chef prepared. Some special dietary requests can be catered for with advance notice.

Beverages

Fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited

selection of local beer and wine are complimentary.

Photographic Facilities

Complete digital photo facility including a PC for downloading photos.

The Photo pro is available for free coaching with equipment rental. There is a strobe charging station and a large camera table available. Guests should bring their own battery chargers.

Decks

Lower deck Cabins #2-8; the main deck contains the dive deck with personal dive lockers and 2 rinse tanks, photo lab, lounge, dining, galley and crew quarters. The upper deck has a covered and unshaded sun deck, bar and Cabins #9-11. There is also a separate open sun deck above this deck.

Communications

GPS, radar, VHF marine radio, satellite phone. Email is available onboard through the satellite system (charges apply). Private calls may be made from the yacht. There is a cell tower in Wafer Bay with international reception while anchored during the charter.

Dives per day

7 days diving with 3 scheduled dinghy dives and an optional night dive is offered on three nights due to new regulations
