Galapagos Sky

Galapagos Sky Deck PlansM/V Galapagos Sky is a 33 metre luxury liveaboard dive yacht providing high voltage diving experiences in the fabled waters of the Galapagos Islands. Formerly Sky Dancer of Dancer Fleet, she was launched in June 2001 by her current owner and has been in continuous diving operation in the Galapagos for over a decade. The yacht was built with the utmost of safety standards in mind and seeks to deliver a 5 star Galapagos experience with luxury accommodations, excellent food, extra touches and friendly, helpful staff.

Galapagos Sky departs from San Cristobal on Sundays offering a 7 night / 5.5 days diving itinerary, spending 3 days around Darwin and Wolf Islands. The itinerary includes 3 guided land excursions. Climb to the top of Bartolome to take in the magnificent views. Visit the Highlands in Santa Cruz to search for the giant Galapagos Tortoises in their natural habitat with time allowed for an unguided visit of the Charles Darwin Research Centre. On your morning of departure, tour the Interpretation Centre in San Cristobal.

A few extended 10 night / 8.5 days diving itineraries are also offered throughout the year.

Cabins

4 Master Stateroom cabins #1-4 are located on the Dolphin deck and have two twin beds (that can be joined together) and window view. 4 Deluxe Stateroom cabins #5-8 are located on the Iguana deck and have two twin beds and port light view. Each cabin features a private head/shower, mirrored cabinet and wardrobe, bathrobes, hairdryer and biodegradable, marine safe toiletries, fresh towels daily, air conditioning and volume controls. Nightly turn down service.

Spacious lounge area and main salon incorporating the fine dining area with audio/video entertainment centre, bar and small library.

Food/Meals

Ecuadorian and international cuisine. Fine plated dining service. Some special dietary requests can be catered for with advance notice.

Decks

Lower Iguana deck houses the crew quarters and Deluxe Staterooms. Mid Booby contains the galley, salon, boutique, bar, lounge and Dive Deck with dive platform and fresh, outdoor hot showers. The Dolphin deck has a sun deck and the Master Staterooms. There is another partly shaded sun deck above this deck.

VHF and HI-SUB radios, GMDSS, color radar, echo sounder, Furuno GPS, EPIRB (emergency position indicator radio beacon)

Up to 4 dives per day depending on day of the itinerary - plus 1 night dive  (17-19 dives total)
