Indo Aggressor

Indo Aggressor LayoutIndo Aggressor, formerly known as Komodo Dancer, is a 30 metre finely crafted, twin-masted wooden sailing schooner built in the traditional Pinisi style. Built and designed specifically as a scuba liveaboard in 2000-2001 in South Sulawesi, Indo Aggressor has operated as a dive liveaboard in Indonesian waters since December 2001. She is powered for comfort, safety and stability and cruises at 8 knots.

From August to March, Indo Aggressor offers 7 night and 10 night departures to Komodo National Park ex Labuan Bajo. Between April to July, Indo Aggressor generally cruises between Labuan Bajo and Bali and vice versa for 10 – 11 nights diving Komodo National Park, East Sumbawa, the famous USS Liberty Wreck in Tulamben and other Bali sites.

Cabins

2 Master Staterooms (#1, 8) located on the Upper Sun Deck with picture window and 2 singles or 1 Asian King bed. 2 Deluxe Staterooms (#2, 3) located in the forward lower deck with queen bed and porthole view. 4 Twin Staterooms (#4, 5, 6, 7)  located on the lower deck with two twin European size bunk beds and porthole view. All cabins have private facilities, mirrored wardrobe, bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, fresh towels daily and independent AC units.

Combined salon / dining with TV, DVD player, CD player, stereo, small library.

Food/Meals

Breakfast (cooked to order), buffet lunch and an elegant chef prepared dinner with tableside service are served in addition to fresh mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks. Some special dietary requests can be catered for with advance notice.

Beverages

Fruit juices, soft drinks, iced water, iced tea, coffee, and a limited

selection of local beer and wine served with dinner are complimentary.

Photographic Facilities

Complete digital photo facility including a PC for downloading photos. The Photo Pro is available for free coaching with equipment rental. There is a 110 volt strobe charging station in the lounge and a large camera table on the dive deck. Guests should bring their own battery chargers.

Decks

The Main Deck houses the dive deck with fresh hot water showers, outdoor dining area, salon, galley, crew quarters and aft tender deck. The Upper deck has an extensive sun lounging area.

Communications

GPS, radar, VHF marine radio, satellite phone, restricted internet access. Some cell phone reception is possible.

Available on board. Tanks with DIN/yoke adaptable valves.

Courses

Several diving specialty courses are offered onboard including Nitrox, Advanced Open Water, UW Photography and more.

Support Vessel

2 x 6 metre custom built fiberglass dive tenders. All diving done by tender. Each tender is equipped with VHF radio, camera storage area, shot line, stainless steel ladder and stern line.

Other Activities

Visiting the still erupting Komba Volcano in the Flores Sea is part of the East Flores itinerary and an option to visit the local tribes in their village on the mountains are offered to guests at the end of the trip. Komodo itineraries include hiking in Gili Lawa Darat and also the walk on Rinca Island to see the Komodo Dragons.
