Nusa Island Retreat is situated on Nusa Island, just off the coast of Kavieng, New Ireland Province, Papua New Guinea.

The Retreat is low impact and environmentally friendly with accommodation in the form of traditional, island-style bungalows. Most of the bungalows are set on the water's edge, and all have great views.
The waters surrounding Nusa Island and Kavieng have excellent wreck diving with several World War II ships and plane wrecks nearby, coral encrusted lagoons that are teeming with marine life, drift diving as well as caves and pelagics aplenty.

The Resort also has plenty to offer to sports fishermen and surfers.

Accommodation & Amenities

Accommodation: Consists of 7 traditional styled bungalows
built from local, bush materials.

Amenities: All bungalows feature basic furniture items, linen, towels, mosquito netting and lanterns. Shared bathroom facilities are separately housed, close by. The beachfront restaurant has a licensed bar and views of Kavieng Harbour.

Activities: Surfing, swimming, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving, canoeing, kayaking.
