Bokissa is a tropical island set on 175 acres, 30 minutes by boat from Santo and the township of Luganville.
The exclusive resort is nestled amongst unspoiled, lush, green forest and bordered by sandy, palm fringed beaches.
The entire island and surrounding waters are a privately owned sanctuary with only native flora and fauna on the island. Dense rainforest, coconut crabs, dugongs, turtles and other unique marine life abounds.

16 individual, well appointed, fares spread along the beachfront. Each fare is tastefully appointed with its own private en-suite and balcony, air conditioning, ceiling fan, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and board. Hammocks hang from trees in front of each fare. The retreat has is no in-room TV, radio, phones, or business centre, providing an escape from today’s all consuming technologies.
Each of the Beachfront Farés have absolute beach frontage along with screened timber shutters, deck chairs and gardens, and contain a queen bed and single day bed for maximum occupancy of 2 adults and 1 child.
The Deluxe Spa Beachfront Fare is off by itself with plenty of privacy, deck recliner chairs, spa and gardens. It has a large lounge and a separate bedroom, accommodating 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children with 1 queen bed in the bedroom and 2 king singles in the lounge room plus a rollaway bed.
The Beachfront Duplex Spa Villas A and B sits right on the water’s edge and consists of two adjoined bungalows separated by a patio, a communicating hall and an interconnecting doorway. Combined, the villa has 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suites, 2 lounge areas, a hot tub and a large, common deck right over the beach.
The duplex can be rented as a whole, suitable for two couples traveling together or for families. Bedding configuration is 1 queen bed in Villa A and 1 queen bed + 1 single bed in Villa B for maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.
Villa A is split-level and is the larger of the two units. Villa A may be rented individually for maximum 2 adults.
The restaurant and bar serves all organic food, a variety of proteins including Santo’s famous beef, and delectable seafood. All meals are included in your tariff. There is a 25 metre freshwater swimming pool, Nakamal (Kava) Bar, gift shop, WiFi and phones in the restaurant and lounge, mobile phone service, tour desk, complimentary kayaks and snorkeling gear, massage hut on the beach, comprehensive library, pool table, fishing boat and water taxi. The resort has 24 hour power.
The fully equipped resident dive shop will look after all your diving needs. Bokissa’s dive boat can take you to the wreck of the MV Henry Bonneaud, a world rated night wreck dive exclusive to Bokissa guests and all of Bokissa’s surrounding pristine reefs, as well as to dive SS President Coolidge, Million Dollar Point, USS Tucker, Tutuba Point, All Tutuba Reefs, Aore Reefs and Malo Reefs and more.
Other activities include: snorkeling, swimming, deep-sea fishing, beach volleyball, soccer and garden chess. Guests have complimentary use of kayaks and dugout canoes. Tours to neighbouring islands can be arranged. You can also visit Bokissa’s own school and Kindergarten and explore the walking tracks throughout the island.
