Wakatobi Dive Resort

Wakatobi Dive Resort is an intimate, award winning, eco-friendly resort that caters to divers and nature lovers looking for world class diving and snorkelling removed from crowds and commercialism. The resort is built directly at the seaside, with all bungalows spaced along the exquisite beach on a small island locally called Onemobaa, which is beside Tomia Island (one of four major islands), covering an area of 821 sq. km

Getting to Wakatobi is easy, despite the resort's remoteness. Bali is the gateway for all departures to Wakatobi. From Bali, Wakatobi Dive Resort operates a private chartered flight on set scheduled departures to the resort's own airstrip.

The scenic flight over Bali, Lombok's Rinjani volcano and the offshore reefs and atolls enroute takes approximately 2.5 hours. A night in Bali is required before your flight to Wakatobi.

From the airfield on the neighbouring island of Tomia, it's a 10 minute mini bus ride to the harbour where the dive boats will meet and transfer you to the resort (approximately a 15 minute boat ride).
