S.S. Thorfinn

S.S. Thorfinn is a 170 foot (58 metre) stable, steam powered liveaboard vessel with the longest history of all the liveaboards diving Truk Lagoon. Her captain is most knowledgeable of the area’s history and wrecks, and has over 30 years experience providing divers with a memorable stay. S.S. Thorfinn operates as a floating hotel anchored in the lagoon, moving moorings 1-2 times in a week’s stay. Divers will be transported to up to 5 different wreck sites per day in small groups via fast boat tender. Most sites will be on average 10 minutes tender ride from the anchorage. S.S. Thorfinn operates year round with trip turnarounds on a Saturday to Saturday basis. A variety of 7 night packages are offered to cater for different budgets and experience levels.
