Port Vila. Surrounded by clear turquoise waters and coral reefs, Hideaway Island is one of the few
places where you can hand feed hundreds of "tame", brilliantly coloured fish in a safe protected area
right from the beach.

As well as snorkelling and scuba diving, you can try sailing and beach volleyball, or use us the island resort as a base for a myriad of other tours and activities such as game or reef fishing, visiting the Cascade Waterfalls or enjoying a round of golf.
Airport transfers can be arranged with the resort. After a 15 minute drive from Port Vila airport to
the edge of Mele Bay and a short 4 minute ferry ride you will arrive at Hideaway Island.
The Hideaway Island ferry runs 24 hours a day between the resort and the beach on the mainland and is free for guests. Once back on the mainland, guests can catch a bus or taxi back into Port Vila to eat, shop or explore in town.
The beachfront restaurant and bar is a casual toes in the sand venue featuring fresh local cuisine and
a signature Coconut Curry. The bar provides the perfect viewpoint from which to watch the slowly
setting sun with a cocktail in hand. A Melanesian Feast night is held every Thursday with custom
dancing and singing and kava tasting.
